Sean Finnegan is a Senior at Temple University double majoring in Political Science and Chinese. His main areas of study include International Relations and Public Policy, with supplemental coursework in Geographic Information Systems. His interest lies in China’s role in global governance and cross-strait relations between China and Taiwan. He plans to continue to study and improve his Mandarin Chinese language abilities beyond graduation. In the Summer of 2019, Sean was an intern for the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia. There he cleaned and analyzed data for the organization’s PolicyHub initiative. He also worked on compiling and analyzing data on Philadelphia’s immigrant population for the Economy League’s annual Greater Philadelphia Leadership Exchange. In the Spring of 2018, he interned at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office assisting paralegals in the Post-Conviction Relief Act Unit. At Temple, he is currently a study abroad ambassador. He will graduate from Temple in the Spring of 2020.
