Victoria Price is pursuing a Master of Science in Social Policy at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice. Her main area of interest is education policy, specifically the dismantling of the school-to-prison pipeline. She is a student representative for the MSSP Governance Committee which makes key decisions about the program’s admissions process, curriculum, and academic events. Before attending Penn, Victoria was Associate Editor of Kosmos Journal, a digital magazine for which she edited content, designed layout, wrote articles, managed social media, and organized conferences. Simultaneously, she was a freelance production assistant for Immediacy Learning, where she wrote scripts and managed the pre-production process for a project of educational videos for Encyclopedia Britannica. Victoria received her BA in Sociology from Tufts University in 2017. She is also a certified yoga and meditation teacher. In 2016, she completed her 200-hour training in Dharamsala, India, and she has been teaching in the Philadelphia area ever since.
