Eleanor Shemtov is a Sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania planning to double major in Design and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). Her experiences as a dual-citizen of the United States and France, along with her Middle Eastern heritage, have influenced her interests in international politics and business, as well as in conflicts taking place in the Middle East. She is fluent in English and French and is looking forward to continuing her study of Mandarin and to begin the study of a new language. In the Summer of 2019, Eleanor was an intern at Zadig & Voltaire, in the Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, and Graphic Design departments. She primarily created and edited graphic design deliverables for marketing campaigns and potential retail store design and layout, as well as assisted with sending emails to customers and email analysis through Google Analytics. At the University of Pennsylvania, she is a board member of Wharton Europe and is a Photo Editor for 34th Street Magazine. She is also involved as a project leader in Creative by MUSE, an advertising agency that pitches and produces visual promotional content for real-world clients.
