Mary Ogbuehi is a Master’s Degree Candidate in the International Peace & Conflict Resolution (IPCR) Program at Arcadia University. She completed her BA in Political Science and a minor in Asian Studies at Pennsylvania State University (2012). As a graduate student she has conducted fieldwork in Cyprus, France, and South Korea studying diplomacy and separatist conflicts. This past summer Mary studied at Ewha Woman's University focusing on North Korean International Relations and Korean language. Her previous research focuses on democracy and authoritarianism in East Asia with South Korea in 1987. Her current research for her Master’s thesis explores North Korean refugee resettlement programs in South Korea and the United States. She has aspirations of becoming a political analyst, specializing in diplomatic relations on the Korean peninsula.
