Maria Fernanda Felix-Padilla is a Sophomore in the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business at the University of Pennsylvania. She is studying Finance at the Wharton School, International Studies at the College of Arts and Sciences, and Portuguese through the Certificate Program. In the Summer of 2019, Maria worked remotely as a Research Assistant for Professor Conti-Brown at the Wharton School. She spent the majority of May/June in Lisbon taking Portuguese immersion classes, and she was in Taiwan during July teaching English to elementary school students in rural areas. At the University of Pennsylvania, she is the Vice President of Finance for the Public Policy Initiative Student Group (PPISG), where she handles budgetary matters, reimbursements, membership dues, and group-faculty relations. She is a part of the Global Research and Consulting group (GRC), a Joseph Wharton Scholar, and a member of Wharton Latino.
