Linya is a Master of Science in Social Policy + Data Analytics student at University of Pennsylvania. She graduated from Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Economic Consulting and Minor in Mathematics. Before coming to the graduate school, she served as a policy consultant in the second largest Chinese medical device registration consultancy for a year and transferred to a medical adherence Internet of Things (IoT) startup until now.


Her favorite motto is from 1778 Beaumarchais’s play Le Figaro, “Sans la liberté de blâmer, il n’est point d’éloge flatteur” (“Without the freedom to criticise, there is no true praise”). She believes that freedom and inequality won’t conflict with each other. As an aspiring data scientist and fashion select brand co-founder, she is interested in utilizing artsy, technological and sustainable methodologies to power the industry and make a little equal world everyday.
